Location, location, location
Maps of War is an interesting site that contains 90-second Flash movies that show geographical changes and influences over thousands of years, based on specific topics. The first one I came across was the history of who has controlled the middle east over time. Funny how the middle east is always the place to be.

You're quite welcome, Cathy. I was really impressed with the concise nature of how they put these together.
We didn't get hit too badly over here. The storm eventually turned into freezing rain, so the snowfall was kept to a minimum (enough for plowing, of course).
Very cool videos, indeed. Makes one really think about where we're all heading, figuratively, that is....or geographically too one day???????
