End of an Era

Let March 31, 2007 go down in history as one of the saddest days in radio history, for today ends the run of The Who channel on Sirius satellite radio.

Hopefully, they'll reconsider at some point and get our boys back on there. In the meantime, I would be happy to suggest a Pink Floyd channel...

Such sad news, Jon. I didn't realize it was going to end today. They shut down the Stones channel after their US tour ended and I guess it's the same thing here. But I was hoping it would stay on air longer.

Hope all is well with you guys.

I had no idea that the channel was ending until I happened to hear the news from a DJ on The Vault (channel 16) on Friday night. It almost seemed kind of sneaky, because I don't recall getting any kind of e-mail notice from Sirius about the program change. It sucks, but oh well.
